Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 Review
Try walking into GNC and asking for a protein powder, almost without fail whoever is working there will try to convince you nothing works better than Amplified Wheybolic Extreme.
I don’t blame them, after all, it is GNC’s signature protein powder and the clerk is working for GNC. But is it really the best you can get, or should you ask for something else?
Because it comes from GNC, there are high expectations of AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 and we know GNC isn’t in the business of letting people down with there supplements. So will Wheybolic be as powerful and cost-effective as leading products like Myotein? Let’s take a look.
The Formula
As the name suggests, this product contains a whopping 60 grams of protein per serving! That’s a serious amount of protein and if you take 3 scoops at a time you’ll see this is made more for people looking to gain mass more than people who want a protein supplement for weight loss. If you don’t want that much protein, you can always cut back on the amount you use.
In addition to the protein, AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 comes with amino acids like L-Arginine, L-Leucine and L-Glutamine. These ingredients are known for increasing nitric oxide levels, improving focus and performance, speeding up recovery and preventing catabolism.
Glutamine and Arginine are combined in a blend totaling 8.5 grams, and Leucine comes in 7.7 grams. Combine that with 60 grams of protein and you’re looking at one of the most potent, protein-packed supplements available.
Will It Be Effective?
Protein really is protein, so this is definitely going to be able to help you see the benefits of taking whey protein, but different forms of protein can provide additional benefits. This would be good to stack with a casein protein mix to ensure you have lasting digestion too.
AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 seems to be made on the idea that more protein is better. This may not be entirely true. Your body can only handle so much protein at one time and some people say 60 grams of protein is fine but would be better if it was consumed at different times of the day.
With the majority of the protein from Whey Protein Isolate, the body will absorb what it can pretty quickly. You just need to balance and see how much you really need. Not everyone needs 60 g of protein.
How does Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 taste?
The dumps of clumpy mixes and choking down nasty protein mixes are pretty much gone. Taste and mixability aren’t the most important things when it comes to deciding on a protein powder, but they remain important if you’re going to be using something pretty much everyday.
This actually does taste good, it’s even OK in water, but better in milk. The banana flavor is one of the best and cookies and cream is good too. If you like the chocolate or vanilla, you won’t be disappointed either.
What Do Users Say?
On average, AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 gets ratings of 4.3 stars out of 5. Most users like the taste and how easy it is to mix. They said it is effective and shortens recovery time. When this product is combined with regular workouts, results usually come within the first 3 weeks.
However, a large number of users said AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 was too pricey and a poor value. Right now you’ll pay almost $80 for a 3 lb tub. GNC does offer some specials at times, but this is one of the more expensive protein powders out there (perhaps another reason you’ll be told to get in in any GNC store).
How to Get Best Results
AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 can be used to enhance workouts and recovery, or as a meal replacement. If you’re using it for your workouts, users say its best to take AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 after the workout. I recommend taking 1 or 2 scoops a day, instead of the suggested 3. This way, your body will get a dose of protein it can handle and utilize better.
Buying & Returning
Like I mentioned earlier, a 3 lb. container (51 scoops) of AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 costs around $75. Or you can buy it in packages of 1.22 lbs. for the price of about $35. Unfortunately, most retailers, including GNC, will not issue a refund once the container or package has been opened.
Conclusion
AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 is another protein powder that you’ll see results from but it’s kind of up to you if you want to deal with the price. It has high-quality ingredients and powerful doses. But there are plenty of other products that could give you the same results for less cost. For example, a container of Myotein holds about 3 pounds and costs $59.96. It’s also the leading protein powder on the market. To learn more about Myotein click here.

If you want to pack on muscle and burn fat then you need to be taking in at least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. So 60 grams isn’t even 30% of the average mans daily suggested intake. Come on give GNC a little credit, they wouldn’t make a product that can’t be absorbed.

I have used wheybolic for more than 2 years and is by far the best protein supplement, since I started I noticed way more lean muscle than with other brands it is true you lose weight reason why its cause it contains l-carnitine wich transform fat in energy, I take 1 scoop as soon as I wake up and 2 post work out, gnc is the bomb!

I have used AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 and i am not impressed with the results i got from this product. the good is that it is packed with protien. the BAD is it is to heavy and i felt BLOATED after use. My personal opinion is it is not worth the MONEY you can save about $28.00 and get a much better less heavier protien from MUSCLE TECH called NITRO TECH HARD CORE.

Your statement indicates how little you know about protein. NitroTech is merely a whey protein concentrate with 3 grams of creatine monohydrate added in. The whey protein hydroslates and isolates found in the Amp Wheybolic 60 and other proteins are purified whey proteins that are much easier for you body to digest. That means less protein and amino acids are lost in the digestive process, resulting in better recovery, strength, size, etc. While I won’t say Wheybolic 60 is the greatest thing ever created, it is significantly better than NitroTech.
Additionally, you shouldn’t be concerned with it being packed with protein, as your body can process a maximum of 40 grams of protein from the same source at one time. I don’t know why it says to take three scoops, but it is better on your wallet and stomach to take no more than two.

I agree that the price tag (now around $65) is absurd. That said, I easily get 100g of protein naturally because I have a diet full of greek yogurt, turkey, salmon, muesli, eggs… you get the picture. I don’t need another 60 grams. I just need a quick 20-30 immediately post workout.
So I just use one scoop. That way I get 20g of protein (I’ve heard your body can’t really digest much more than 30 in one sitting) plus 9 grams if I mix it with a cup of milk. So 29 grams of protein per serving and it lasts me three months (at $22 a month). That’s really not bad.

I agree with blake, I usually put one and a half scoops in (half the serving size). And the drink actually tastes good when combined with milk, something that has turned me off a couple drinks. Plus, it works. no doubt about that

I love the way that the AMP protein mixes. Three scoops to ten ounces of water and am still able to drink it like a liquid. I have nlticed a lot of lean muscle strength and I only take it on training days which is four or five days/week. Great product

I recommend no one to try the new fruit punch flavor. It’s the the worst protien I have taken and should not have even been attempted to make.

I felt like I was conned into purchasing this protein powder, especially at the price of $72 for 3lbs. I left and later discussed returning it but some friends made good points to keep it and some made good points to return it. Many of your comments helped me but then towards to end of the thread, I still don’t know if I should try and stomach the $72 and Jude use it, or return it and get something cheaper. The Bloated comments make me hesitant to keep it.

I have been using this product for about 1 1/2 – 2 months and I am.really seeing some great results. It is pricy but if you catch a sale. It balances out I think. I ended up buying two 3lbs, averaging about $45 each. I hav noticed not so much bloating but a lot of gas, nand or burping, however I’ve been using it as a pre-workout. I am new to this arena of using supplements, but I hav been studying a lot on different products and their differences. Still many gustions like should I not use this product as a. Pre workout? I read that for best results you should use it as a post- workout.

I use protein powders to bake my Muffins. I tried the Amp Vanilla Custard in my smoothie and really liked it. However; I decided to use in my muffin and was not pleased with the results. If baked dry and made the Muffin taste rubbery. Therefore, I would recommend it for baking.
