Complete Protein Diet Bar Review
Created by Optimal Nutrition, Complete Protein Diet formula offers all the convenience of an energy bar but all the protein of a powerful protein shake, so you can take it with you wherever you are and still have the nutrients you need to stay health and strong.
Supposedly Complete Protein Bar is the perfect low-carb, high-protein snack that will give you the extra boost you need for less than 200 calories per bar. It’s even sugar free so you don’t have to worry about packing on the extra pounds.
But does Complete Protein Diet Bar actually work?
Inside Complete Protein Diet Bar
Complete Protein Diet Bar is an easy way to get 20 grams of protein in a single sitting. Although many protein supplements typically offer anywhere from 25-50grams of protein, 20 grams is not bad if you’re looking for a quick way to stay full and still build muscle.
Unfortunately the 20 grams of protein is a mix of bottom of the barrel proteins, such as wheat protein isolate and egg albumen. While they’re not bad, they’re not highly absorbent, so they’ll probably cause a few negative side effects and significantly reduce your overall muscle building results.
Additionally, instead of using your typical sugars to sweeten its formula, Complete Protein Diet Bar uses 22 grams of Sugar Alcohol -which is neither sugar nor alcohol, but contains fewer calories and is safe for diabetics. On the other hand, some consumers have been known to experience negative side effects such as bloating, gas, and constipation depending on their sensitivity to the ingredient.
Side Effects
For the most part, complete protein diet bar is completely safe to use and should not result in any negative side effects. Yet because the protein in this bar is fairly low quality and considering the fact that it uses sugar alcohol instead of sugar, you may experience negative side effects such as indigestion, stomach upset, and diarrhea.
The Flavor
The great thing about protein bars is that they typically branch out from your average chocolate, strawberry, vanilla combo typical to protein shakes, so you can find a flavor that suits your individual preferences. Complete Protein Diet bars are available in chocolate mint, fudge truffle, peanut butter, and toasted coconut -but surprisingly, many consumers say these flavors taste awful and heavily manufacturered.
The Price
Complete Protein Diet Bars are sold both online and in your ordinary grocery stores, and you can either buy them in a box of 15 or individually. This makes it easier for you to decide if you like what Complete Protein Diet bar has to offer without spending a fortune up front. For a single bar, Complete Protein Diet is often priced between $1.50 and $3, and a box of 15 varies between $20-$25 dollars a box.
Although you’d be getting the better deal by buying in bulk, Complete Protein Diet Bars are fairly expensive compared to your ordinary protein powder because you get fewer servings and fewer grams of protein per serving.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for a sweet new way to increase your protein intake without overloading on carbs, then Complete Protein Diet Bar may be perfect for you. On the other hand, Complete Protein Diet Bar is not a great source of protein and many consumers complained that they didn’t see a lot of success with the product. You’d be better off investing in some of our top products for a much lower price.
Comment
no its not wrong a lot of people try to diet to look good. hewveor if you start dieting for health reasons, youre more likely to have better motivation (ie i want to live a healthy life vs i want to look good in a dress tonight.)it’s really not that bad. it’s just your personal motivation to lose weight. the only thing to keep in mind is that you need to stay healthy. i dont know your body so i cant say for sure that 110 is too little for someone of your height, but to tell you the truth that sounds like too little so be careful!!!
